We will be holding the regular Sunday services in the church HALL, starting this Sunday, January 8th, potentially until warmer weather returns in the spring.
The service of Compline will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday evenings in the Hall, until April. From the Book of Common Prayer, Compline is offered to give thanks when the work of the day is completed. Join us in a reflective atmosphere with sung chants and prayers.
Starting this Sunday, January 8th, the return of an early 8:30 a.m. BCP of Holy Eucharist will be held on a trial basis to determine its viability. At this service the wine and bread will be distributed as before Covid. The wafers will be received directly from the priest to the congregant and the wine will be received from the chalice. This practice will not be followed at the 10 a.m. service: at this service the wafers will be distributed by tongs and the wine will be distributed by dropper. Please note a different chalice from the 8:30 a.m. service will be used at the 10 a.m. service.
There will be a meeting of Christchurch council in the Rosette room on Monday January 9 at 6:30.
2023 Envelope boxes may be picked up at the church office. Also please discard any 2022 or prior year’s envelopes.
